Northstar Baptist church uses only the King James Version in all ministries of the church. It is our strong conviction that the Received Text of the New Testament and Masoretic Text of the Old Testament, underlying the KJV is the preserved Word of God. Modern translations such as the NIV, NASB, the Living Bible and most other modern translations of the Bible are based upon the recent, corrupt critical text, the eventual result of 19th Century modernistic textual criticism. Such translations are never used in the pulpit or on teacher's lecterns at Northstar. Our pastor has written a popular book on the issue entitled TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING which has over 20,000 copies in circulation.
